Foster

Fostering is a fantastic way to get involved by providing a temporary home for an animal who is not quite ready for adoption. Pets in need of a foster home could be injured, ill, too young, too small, unsocialized, orphaned or in need of manners before they can go home. Fosters truly are our lifesavers.

During the spring and summer months  LHS is most in need of foster homes for kittens. They are born in abundance here in our neighborhood and arrive at LHS in need of care before heading off to their adoptive homes. If you are interested in fostering an animal, please fill out this form to get started.
