We do our best to make our dogs comfortable and keep them engaged, but our biggest wish has always been for a new kennel space.
Thanks to our dedicated funding partners, we’ve raised $250,000 and broken ground on a kennel new addition, which will house a new medical and isolation space, dog play area and community room, and new, larger dog runs. It will open, bright, and beautiful. I never thought I’d be so excited about a hole in the ground!
We need your help to raise the remaining $150,000 to finish construction by spring of 2020.
We’ve gotten here after many years. One dollar at a time. Every contribution makes a difference (and sometimes your employer will match it!).
This holiday season I hope you will consider making a gift to support this essential expansion, which will allow us to do so much more for people and animals in need.
Many thanks for your continued support,

Making a tribute gift is a wonderful way to honor or memorialize a special person, pet, or event while supporting LHS's care of local homeless animals. In acknowledgment of your thoughtfulness, for each donation of $25 or more LHS will send a card to your recipient of choice. Each card will be hand written by an LHS staff member or volunteer, and features a photo of one of our many adopted animals now in loving new homes. Choose from the versions shown here (from top to bottom).
What better way to mark an occasion?
