Lost a Pet
Pets who are found in Jersey City and Hoboken all come to our facility. If their owners do not come forward within 7 days (the stray holding period), these pets become the responsibility of LHS and are assessed for placement in our adoption program.

If you find a pet in Jersey City or Hoboken, call the Animal Response Team (ART) right away at 201.547.4888. When calling, please be prepared to give the exact time and location at which you found the pet, as well as a description of the animal's physical condition.
