Bark in the Park, Liberty Humane's biggest fundraising and alumni gathering event of the year, is back! To celebrate Bark in the Park’s 12th year, we are planning for an even bigger and better event at Stevens Park in Hoboken that will be jam-packed with fun games for humans and their furry friends.

The event kicks off with the Walk-n-Wag Fundraiser that concludes at Stevens Park for the Bark In The Park festival, full of vendors, contests, games, crafts, demonstrations, and more!

Why is your involvement in Bark in the Park so important to the animals?

Liberty Humane Society first started the annual Bark in the Park fundraiser 11 years ago to celebrate shelter animals while also raising the funding that is critical for their care. Since municipal funding only covers about a seven-day stay for our animals, the donations that are raised at this event provide for everything our animals need to find their forever homes including: medication, vaccinations, spay/neuter, adoption and foster programs, training and enrichment. Your involvement in Bark in the Park is what turns these lost souls into happy, loving companions for their future adopters.
