Support Local Spay/Neuter On November 14th

Support Liberty Humane Society and our Spay/Neuter program by attending the 2nd Annual Spay/Neuter Fundraiser on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Harborside, 210 Hudson St. 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $40.00 per individual and include two cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Thank you to Jaclyn Fulop and Exchange Physical Therapy Group for hosting this important fundraiser which subsidizes the Liberty Humane Society Spay/Neuter Program, and saves the lives of dogs like Karma.

Karma, a nine-year-old lady, arrived with her owner Darren at our Spay/Neuter Clinic only to discover the she had a life-threatening infection, Pyometra, that needed immediate attention. Pyometra must be treated aggressively, if the treatment is not performed quickly the toxic effects from the bacteria are fatal. Lucky for Karma, the veterinarian was able to diagnosis the illness instantly and perform the surgery needed to keep her alive. The surgery is was a success and Karma’s life was saved. Spaying at an early age will avoid the risk of Pyometra and prevent the fatal disease from ever occurring.

Darren, her owner, responded “I’m so grateful! I had no idea she was sick, If I’d known, I would have spayed her long ago. Thank you so much for saving my dog! “

Join Jaclyn Fulop and Exchange Physical Therapy at the 2019 Spay/Neuter Fundraiser and help Liberty Humane Society continue to provide low cost surgeries and help save a life!
