Cards for Humanity!

Less snark for everyone! Or more! We don't judge. For a donation of $25 or more, we will send anyone you wish a holiday card with the handwritten message of your choice. Sweet or sassy- the choice is yours (some have glitter)! Every Holiday Tribute Card you send will support LHS and help us meet our annual fundraising goal.

Super de Duper- Adoptions

This past weekend we attended the Best Friends Holiday Pet Super Adoption event and facilitated some fabulous adoptions--including our longest resident cat, Nina Rodriguez! Poor Nina came to us after her owner died, along with some terrible skin issues. She was with us and in treatment for 536 days, and we're thrilled she finally grew some new fur and found a home! There's no place like Someone Else's Couch 

Every year we ask for your help to clear our kennels and place every dog (and our few cats who are ok with change) into temporary foster homes to be spoiled and petted, and hopefully adopted by one of your friends or family members! Coney here has obviously decided she's the only present that needs to be under the tree.

If you're up for a beer and some good company come by Louise & Jerry's in Hoboken, as they host their first ever Guinness Yappy Hour with donations to benefit Liberty Humane Society!  It's a pet friendly event, so you can BYOD (bring your own dog) and not have to feel guilty about leaving your best friend (or friends) at home!

Fancy Catsy Scratchy!

Lastly: thank all of you who donated to our #GivingTuesday fundraiser. Together we met our goal to purchase some really swank custom cat furniture that our cats can climb (and we can still clean!). Our order has been placed and we can't wait to share pics of our cats destroying their new toys!  🐱😻
